The main ring offers a full programme of events throughout the day including motorbike and BMX displays, Jema Leopold's Equestrian display and the return of the dog and duck.
Music lovers are well catered for across both the main area and the bandstand with 70+ members of Magic Voices choir headlining on the bandstand. Alderley and Wilmslow Musical Theatre Company will also be showcasing part of the performance they are taking to the Lowry the following week and there are both rock and steel bands performing.
The fun Dog Show is back in the Dog Arena with a class for every dog whether it is the best rescue dog or is the one with the waggiest tail. There is no need to enter your dog before the day, you can just turn up.
Outside of the display areas, there are numerous things to do and see. Wythenshawe Community Farm will be in attendance with a number of animals, the birds of prey display 'Feathered Friends' will be there as will Alderley Edge and Wilmslow Horticultural Society with their flora, craft and cookery competitions.
As well as a number of paid for activities, whether you fancy football zorbing or dodgems, there are a number of free games and activities as well as free donkey rides. Amongst the free activities are sumo suits, a climbing wall, crazy bikes and giant garden games.
This year will also see the largest number of community organisations ever in attendance.
The 107th Wilmslow Community Show is taking place from 11am to 5pm at the Carnival Field. There is a free bus running from Broadway Meadow Car Park to the showground throughout the day. Tickets are £7 for adults, £3 for concessions with children under 5 free. A family ticket is £15 (2 adults and up to 3 children) and for the first time, this year you can pay by credit card on the front gate.
Tickets be purchased in advance with discount for a family ticket and the chance to avoid the queues on the day.
